With a vision to spread the benefits of technology, Zia visualized a company providing turnkey solutions of all complexities. Solutions that not only technical people could handle but rather technological solutions for all. TigerIT BD Ltd is the brainchild of that dream. With a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree in Electrical Engineering from the Bangladesh University of Engineering and Technology (BUET), Ziaur Rahman, has an in-depth understanding of the information and communication system, giving him the unique ability to visualize, integrate and implement solutions. The distinctive quality that makes him stand out is his cross platform experience in technology and business and his association with people of all technical levels.
Zia has successfully managed several ICT companies based in Bangladesh and abroad. With an insight into new and innovative technology he has introduced new technology as well as taken the existing to new heights. As the Managing Director of TigerIT BD, he has integrated technology from many international high profile ICT companies to build turnkey solutions for local and international clients. Being the Managing Director of Therap Services (BD) Limited and Vice-Chairman, Therap Services, LLC, USA, (Therap Services, LLC, USA is the US counterpart of Therap Services BD Limited) has given him experience and exposure in the international ICT arena.
With the rise of biometric technology, Zia has established TigerIT BD. as a leading biometric solution provider in Bangladesh. Zia has integrated turnkey solutions for National e-Passport system, Biometric people registration and identity system and biometric office management system. He has implemented the Biometric people registration and Identity system for the Election Commission of Bangladesh for the Voter Registration and ID card project. His people registration and Identity management system has participated in projects in a number of countries across the globe.
Joseph Fuisz
Cofounder
Prior to founding TigerIT, Joe Fuisz was a partner at St. James Holding LLC, a private equity firm that focuses on Biotechnology and internet-related investments. Joseph Fuisz formerly served as Senior Vice President for MonoSol Rx, a drug delivery company and was a co-founder of Kosmos Pharma which was acquired by MonoSol Rx. He is currently the managing partner of Fuisz Tobaccco. He is a named inventor on various issued and pending patents relating to drug delivery and e-commerce and serves on the boards of a number of private companies. He is trained as a corporate attorney and practiced at Sullivan & Cromwell. He is a graduate of Yale College and the Columbia University Law School.
Sanjir Inam Habib
Chief Software Architect
Sanjir Inam Habib has extensive experience in programming, multi-media applications, knowledge in various languages for software development, web programming, and database systems management, including PHP, PERL, mySQL, Oracle, Linux etc.
Habib is working with TigerIT from the beginning as the CTO. He is working in the core management side of TigerIT’s software development department where he is leading, coordinating, managing project development and communicating with our clients.
Habib has led the team in developing the Card Management Server and the Voter Vetting System for the Bangladesh Voter Registration project. Adding biometric technology to his existing expertise, he has combined fingerprint and face recognition technology in to one turnkey system integrated to the Registry input client.
Md. Saroar Jahan
Vice President, Product Development
Md. Saroar Jahan (Likhon) has more than ten years of experience in the Information Technology field. He has a proven track for a wide range of software projects for various sectors; such as general consumer, micro-finance, hedge fund, tour operation, music recognition, and identity management solutions among others. At Tiger IT he is leading the Identity Management Division.
Prior to joining TigerIT, he worked as a software consultant at Vicis Capital, LLC, a multi- strategy hedge fund with about 5 billion dollar assets under management applying volatility arbitrage, convertible arbitrage, structured derivatives, and other strategies. Vicis has offices in New York, London, and Hong Kong. During his career Saroar performed leading roles - CTO at ASA, Technical Manager at SECL, CTO at IT MATRIX can be named among those.
He worked for many mission critical IT projects for Fortune-500 companies like TTB Siemens, CrowedZone, Auditude, Mobiteris. He also served United Nation’s Children Fund (UNICEF) as database consultant. ASA, world’s largest microfinance institute engaged him to automate their full business operation. This was the largest project in Bangladesh in terms of deployment.
Saroar graduated in Computer Science and Engineering from Bangladesh University of Engineering and Technology. His research interest includes IT Project Management in an outsourcing environment, data modeling and data warehousing in a VLDB environment, enterprise application integration (EAI) with middleware, and efficient n-tier systems development in Unix and in Windows platforms.
Mahbub Alam
Creative Director
Mahbub Alam has extensive experience in graphic design, multi-media applications, web development, web programming, and systems management. In addition to PHP, PERL and mySQL, his areas of expertise include typography, color theory, page layout, conceptual design and photography.
He has worked with a number of leading companies and successfully launched a variety of technical websites. He has developed the interface and infrastructure, managed systems housing and supervised support staff in the areas of content development, application servers, personalization, customer profiling, internet marketing and e-commerce. As Senior Web Architect of Virginia based TigerIT.com, Mahbub developed the corporate website and provided comprehensive web development services for its clients.
As a designer for TigerIT BD., Mahbub has designed the interface for the Voter Registration software for Bangladesh and also the Voter ID card for Bangladesh. He has worked on the designing of the documentation for the software.
Jamil Ahmed
Director of Software Development
With experience in both Windows and Linux Environment, Jamil Ahmed worked as a programmer for TigerIT BD since his graduation. He has experiences in developing web application using Perl/C, ASP, and PHP and has knowledge in C, WML, VB, MySQL, Linux, and Apache, SQL Databases, Oracle etc.
Jamil has worked on projects including FireFly POS, eBazzar, Xbounce, Home Page Builder, etc. for TigerIT BD. As a Vice President and Team Leader, Jamil’s responsibility includes designing the client application architecture, leading the development team and sharing the development load, assuring quality with the help of QA team, organizing workflow from group planning sessions to implementation and maintenance, capitalizing on the competencies of the development teams. Jamil has cross-platform experience in systems development and network administration.
Jamil has over six years of experience as a software developer/ Engineer and over three years of experience as Team Leader working on Client Server and Internet Technology.
Jamil has obtained his M. Sc. and B.Sc. (Hons.) Degree in Computer Science, from the Institute of Science and Technology, Dhaka under the National University, Bangladesh.
Nasir Uddin Ahmed
Chief Software Developer
Nasir Uddin Ahmed has obtained his MS degree in "Data Communication & Interactivity" from Linköping University, Sweden and Bachelor Degree in Computer Science and Engineering from Bangladesh University of Engineering and Technology (BUET).
Nasir experiences in C/C++, Visual C++, Java, Linux and has excellent knowledge in Web Programming, designing professional web sites and developing Internet applications (HTML, ASP, and JSP), good knowledge of SQL Databases, working extensively with mySQL, ODBC, Oracle etc.
Nasir has been with TigerIT from the beginning of the company. He has successfully worked on a variety of projects and developed an ATL/COM Object for a web-based document designing and printing site, developed a Windows Meta File (WMF/EMF) to PostScript File (PS/EPS) converter, designed and implemented a windows explorer like FTP explorer etc. He also worked on the ThunderHawk project as Vice President. Nasir has been working on People Registration and Identity Management Systems and has led the development team of the Voter Registration Client software for the Voter Registration and ID project in Bangladesh.
Al Mamun Chowdhury
Senior Software Engineer
Al Mamun Chowdhury, received his Master of Science in Engineering and Management of Information System from the Royal Institute of Technology, KTH, Stockholm, Sweden. He joined TigerIT BD in the year 2005 as a programmer.
Mamun had experience working with companies such as, KDS Accessories Division, Projukti.Net Ltd. and DataSoft Systems Bangladesh Ltd before joining TigerIT BD. His skills include, Programming in C, C++, C#, VB.Net, Java, Java Script and Pascal covering technologies ASP, ASP.NET, PHP and OpenGL. In database programming his skills include MS SQL Server with Visual Studio 6.0, ASP and ASP.NET, My SQL with and PHP, Oracle with Developer 2000 and Crystal Report. He has experience in both Widows and Linux. His other skills include Enterprise Modeling Skill, Database Design, Data Warehouse Concept, OOP Concept, Project Management Concept, IT Strategy Concept etc.
Working for TigerIT BD. Mamun has worked on the development team for the Voter Registration and ID Card project for Bangladesh, developing modules for the client and the server. He has also developed a partial automated registration process using OCR scanners to input data for people registration.
A. M. Sohaib Reza
Senior Software Engineer
Since his B.Sc. in Computer Science & Engineering from the Department of CSE, Jahangirnagar University, A. M. Sohaib Reza has been working for TigerIT BD. As a programmer. He has done a number of projects as part of his curriculum with distinction and has developed a Library Management System which is now being used in his institutes’ seminar library.
He is experienced in both Windows and Linux environments and has practical experience in Networking and Server deployment. His programming language skills include C, C++, Java, Symbian C++ and also Linux Shell Scripting, Perl, PHP5. He is also proficient in MySQL and Oracle database programming. He has worked as part of the team developing the Voter Vetting System for the Voter Registration and ID project in Bangladesh.
Mainul Ahmed
Director of Customer Support and Training
Involved with Broadcast media and computers since 1990 Mainul Ahmed has been a pioneer in Computer Multimedia technology in Bangladesh. He has provided digital media solutions for many organizations including Channel i, ATN Bangla, Rose Valley, Film Fair Video, Center for Mass Education in Science (CMES) etc since then.
His passion for new technology has given him insight and in-depth knowledge of a diverse range of new technology, including mobile media content delivery, mobile data networks and biometric systems.
For TigerIT BD., Mainul has been a part of the QA team for the Voter Registration software for Bangladesh and also in charge of the documentation. He has also been a part of the QA team for the Voter Registration pilot project in Guinea, Conakry and participated in the demonstration in Guinea.
Khandakar Mujahidul Islam
Assistant Director of Customer Support
Khandakar Mujahidul Islam is a skilled Software Engineer. He has experience in programming with PHP, MySQL, JavaScript, AJAX, Shell Programming, C/C++, HTML, LISP, Prolog. He is also skilled in operating systems Debian GNU/Linux, Ubuntu, Fedora, Red Hat Linux, Centos GNU/Linux, Knoppix, Sun Solaris, Windows XP/2000/98 and software tools Lyx, Doxygen, QT, GTK, KDeveloper, OpenOffice Suite, Gimp, Inkscape, gFTP, Anjuta, MonoDevelop, Emacs etc. He has worked for Texas Group as a Software Engineer. He has also worked on many Linux projects including GNU/Linux & PC-BSD Bengali Localization Projects, Quenix – The First Bangladeshi Linux Distribution, AmrraLinux Live CD, Ankur Bangla Install CD 6.08 (Sraboni) etc. as a lead developer.
Working for TigerIT BD. as an Assistant Director of Customer Support, He has worked with clients in the filed level. With his knowledge in programming and computers as a whole, he has effectively worked with clients resolving their problems. For TigerIT BD, Mujahidul Islam has worked on the National Voter ID Project and the Phoenix (Point of Sale) project. His key role in these projects includes talking to the client, understanding their problems and resolving them.
Mujahidul Islam graduated in BSC in Computer Science & Engineering from Jahangirnagar University in the year 2005.
A.B.M. Mohiuddin
Assistant Director of marketing
A. B. M. Mohiuddin has more than ten years job experience with national and multinational companies; six years experience in administrative operations and event-management functions and has 3 years practical experience in sales & marketing. Mohiuddin also worked with renowned national/local companies like SQUARE Pharmaceuticals Limited, Pran Group etc.
Mohiuddin joined TigerIT BD., from its start, as a Manager (Admin). He is serving as the catalyst for successful management and business development by assisting in all respects of the company activities that lead to create great impact on organization, policies, procedures and practices considering in terms of company goals and objectives. His rich work experience along with his dedication, is vastly responsible for the harmonious and efficient work environment in TigerIT BD.
Mohiuddin has obtained his M.Sc., B.Sc. (Hons.) from D.U and MBA in management from CEMBA (Commonwealth Executive MBA), and diploma degree in MIS and studying in PGDHRM (Post Graduate Diploma in HRM & Labor Law) from Institute Of Personnel Management, Bangladesh.
Md. Azizul Islam Bhuiyan
Vice President, Sales and Marketing
Md. Azizul Islam Bhuiyan is responsible for leading TigerIT BD’s sales execution in Bangladesh. Prior to TigerIT BD. Ltd., as Deputy General Manager of Sirius Broadband Ltd., Mr. Bhuiyan was responsible for planning and coordination for achieving organizational target and ensure successful implementation.
Previously, Mr. Bhuiyan was Deputy Manager (Operation) of Flora Limited (Chittagong Branch), where he conducted business survey and full setup & development of new regional office including commercial, financial & marketing perspective.
Mr. Bhuiyan has rapidly adapted to the new technological trends and used his existing profound marketing knowledge in promoting sales of biometric solutions to Government organizations and private corporations.
Mr. Bhuiyan received his M. Comm. Degree from Chittagong University. He has been working in the ICT industry for over 15 years.
